COACH GEOFF
Geoff was born and raised in Anaheim, and spent most of his youth playing sports.
After finishing his athletic career playing football at Golden West College, he realized that he needed something to compete at. It was at this time that Geoff found his true passion in weight training.
He attended the California University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and Sports Management.
After graduating Geoff took a 4 month internship with the Washington Redskins as an assistant to the head strength coach John Hastings. It was there that Geoff learned how to implement the knowledge that he had retained from school. Learning how the coaches programmed the workouts to achieve each athletes goals is what gave him the idea for Train Insane.
Taking the principles used by professional athletes, and modifying them for the average Joe or Jane.
When he returned home from Virginia, Geoff began to put together the program that is now implemented at Train Insane Gym. Since then the program has grown from 5 to over 200 members. And as you can see from the transformation photos, and we’re not done yet!

COACH MARCO
Marco is an Anaheim native that began his time at Train Insane as an intern in January 2013. Marco practiced Tae Kwon Do as a child, and would eventually earn a gold medal for sparring in the Jr. Olympics. However, he did not continue on with his athletic career past elementary school which eventually led to a sedentary life, and ultimately, weight gain.
Being obese throughout most of his youth, Marco grew tired of his poor eating habits and poor quality of life. After high school he found a renewed love for fitness and health by attending a local 'globogym'. While making positive strides in his health at first, Marco quickly began to plateau with his fitness gains.
To get over this hump, he changed his major in college in order to study fitness. Recently graduating from Cal State Fullerton with a B.S. in Kinesiology in May 2013, he has been coaching at T.I. ever since.
