Geoff Etherson is the founder and head coach of Train Insane Gym. Born and raised in Anaheim, Geoff grew up playing sports before continuing his football career through college. After his playing career ended, he began coaching as a personal trainer and quickly discovered his passion for helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident.

Geoff got his start at 24 Hour Fitness, but soon realized he wanted to build something different: a gym centered on expert coaching, proven programming, and measurable results. In 2010, he opened Train Insane Gym, where he has spent the last 16 years helping thousands of members transform their health and performance.

Throughout his career, Geoff has coached champions in physique competitions, powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, and CrossFit. He has also served as the strength and conditioning coach for multiple Southern California high school programs, working with football, lacrosse, baseball, and softball athletes to develop strength, speed, power, and resilience.

After years of coaching in the field, he earned his degree in Exercise Physiology to further build on his practical experience.

Today, Geoff specializes in strength training for adults, women, and youth athletes. His coaching philosophy is simple: build strength first, master the fundamentals, and the results will follow.
